Sports classes
Dear parents,
As part of our sports programme, we offer you the opportunity to ensure your son receives high-quality training whilst we monitor his academic performance. In this way, we aim to give our players the chance to combine a high-quality training programme with academic success as effectively as possible. Sports classes are run by every leading football club, and most young players take advantage of this opportunity.
The class, tailored to the training programme, aims to support children who are ambitious in their studies but also wish to play football at a high competitive level, as this is the only way they will become accustomed to the sport and continue to pursue it even during the critical period of adolescence.
The aim is to establish a routine for the pupil that rules out excuses based on a busy schedule. The player manages to keep up with both school and football to the full, without feeling that they are neglecting either. The aim is for the player to understand this as a reality of life, and thus to develop a professional attitude in any field of human endeavour that will not tolerate constant excuses.
Furthermore, the football club has the opportunity to actively monitor its players’ academic performance. Players who fall short of their academic potential will be guided by the club through motivational measures.
The boys will thus grow up in a competitive environment and learn to cope with the pressures that accompany life at every age. Our aim is to nurture strong and successful individuals who know how to approach their responsibilities and assigned tasks in the right way. It is precisely the atmosphere of the world’s most popular sport and the connection with an ambitious club that can have a positive influence on the boys by helping to create the professional atmosphere of top-flight football that most young players dream of.

Training programme as part of the school curriculum
The players attend Rabasova Primary School. The curriculum includes a compulsory-optional subject called Physical and Sporting Activities (PSA). PSA lessons focus on all-round development (gymnastics, combat sports, ball games, swimming, etc.).
The training programme builds on the school curriculum. It takes place at the Klíši sports complex, under the guidance of professional coaches.
The sports classes are directly linked to the FK Ústí nad Labem a.s. Youth Sports Centre, which works closely with all secondary schools in Ústí.
Our club was awarded the status of a Youth Sports Centre (hereinafter ‘SpSM’) in 2010 after meeting the criteria set by the Czech Football Association (FAČR). The SpSM is intended for the youth category, and the club must meet several important criteria.
The main criteria include the level of youth competitions, the number of teams, training facilities (pitch space, facilities) and qualified coaches.
The main objectives of the youth categories are:
- to develop players’ technical skills (ball control)
; - to instil a sense of responsibility for fulfilling specific duties
; - to develop players’ tactical skills (following simple tactical instructions)
; - to combine education with the training process
The sporting development of players at our club is overseen by
:- 4 head coaches-
4 assistant coaches-
1 goalkeeping coach
Everything is methodically overseen by the SpSM head coach, who holds the highest PRO UEFA coaching licence.
