Tennis result against Zwickau: After a 3–6 defeat, Oulehla assessed the match and the new players

Our footballers played their third pre-season friendly and suffered a heavy 3–6 defeat against German side Zwickau. After the match, manager David Oulehla spoke openly about the team’s performance and the new signings being assessed.
FK Ústí nad Labem’s first team have played another pre-season friendly, this time against German opponents from Zwickau. The match ended in an unflattering 3–6 defeat for our side – a score almost like a tennis match – which certainly did not please anyone on the coaching staff.
After the match, manager David Oulehla made no secret of his disappointment at the number of goals conceded, but he also highlighted the circumstances that affected the team’s performance.
“Of course I’m not satisfied, because we conceded six goals, which is really a lot. On the other hand, I’m trying to look at it in context; we’d had another rather demanding week, so we were a bit sluggish on our feet,” said the Ústí coach after the match.
The match was split into two 45-minute halves, and in both David Oulehla’s side conceded three goals each. In the first half, Novotný and Berelidze, a Georgian international on trial, found the net for Ústí; after the break, Diarra added a goal from the penalty spot.
Goals:
- 1st half: Novotný, Berelidze (on trial)
- Second half: Diarra (penalty)
- Final score: FK Ústí nad Labem – Zwickau 3–6
